Great condition for this 45 years old Rickenbacker 4001 Bass in very rare Ruby Red finish.
Low action, that thunderous tone only a ricky can achieve and a beautiful and very hard to find finish.
This marvellous instrument is completely original beside one replaced tuner screw.
The pickup cover is not currently in the bass but still there inside the original tolex hard case.
This 4001 Ricky is from the very last period of production of this model, before they got discontinued and replaced by the 4003.
it plays and soundsgreat, not heavy in weight and with just a little bit of genuine wear from nearly half a century of life on the road.
Amazing collector piece and phenomenal player.
